We’re hiring!

Social Media Manager – Peppy

Type: Full-Time | Team: Marketing / Community | Location: Remote / Hybrid

Overview

We’re looking for someone to own how peppy.bot shows up on social media and community channels. You’ll spend your time doing creative work (video editing, copywriting, community engagement) and translating complex technical robotics concepts into highly engaging content. You must be deeply familiar with platforms where developers and engineers live: Stack Exchange, Discord, Reddit, X, and YouTube. Your goal is to build an audience of engaged roboticists, developers, and enthusiasts.

Why Peppy?

At Peppy, our mission is simple but wildly ambitious: We are building the Lovable for robots.

Just as Lovable lets anyone transform raw ideas into real software products instantly, peppy.bot enables anyone to build, program, and deploy robotic systems with ease. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in robotics creation, drastically lowering the barrier to entry for both solopreneurs and massive enterprise teams. We want to change the way the physical world is programmed.

We’re a small, talent-dense team that values extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.

What we’re looking for

This isn’t a traditional corporate social media role. We need a hybrid creator, community builder, and technical communicator.

  • Deep Channel Expertise: You don’t just know how to schedule a LinkedIn post. You genuinely understand the culture, algorithms, and unwritten rules of Reddit, Discord, Stack Exchange, X/Twitter, and YouTube. Exposure to clawbot, agents, Lovable, and Replit are helpful. And you’ll need quantitative analysis skills to analyze in detail how each channel is performing.
  • Video Editing & Visual Chops: You can create your own product visuals. Whether it’s a sleek screen recording of our platform, a fast-paced TikTok/Reel of a robot prototype in action, or a comprehensive YouTube tutorial, you can edit and produce it yourself.
  • Technical Communication Skills: You can take a powerful new API endpoint, inverse kinematics update, or hardware integration feature and write about it in a way that resonates with both hardcore roboticists and a general tech audience.
  • Product Marketing Aptitude: You understand how to turn a dry changelog or a complex feature launch into a compelling story that matters to our community.
  • High Agency: You are comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering and Product, and you know how to get what you need to ship great content.

What you will do

  • Own the Channels: Establish an opinionated social media strategy across our primary technical and social channels (Reddit, Discord, Stack Exchange, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and execute against it daily.
  • Content Creation: Write copy, storyboard videos, edit clips, and direct creative assets. Turn behind-the-scenes engineering work and new software releases into content people actually want to engage with.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the voice of peppy.bot in technical forums. Answer questions, seed discussions, and foster a thriving ecosystem of developers building the future of robotics.
  • Launch Campaigns: Partner with Product and Engineering to get early visibility into what’s shipping. Build a cadence and format library for product content so every release has a clear path to social.
  • Analyze & Iterate: Track and analyze what content and formats resonate with our technical audience, and feed those learnings back into how we plan future launches.

About you

You have a portfolio of product social content you’ve shipped that you’re proud of—especially content aimed at developers, engineers, or technical hobbyists. You’re passionate about robotics, AI, and developer tools. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where the feedback loop is tight, and the impact is immediate.

Apply by sending an email with a video introduction to [email protected].
